    This workshop will address the physical mechnisms that transfer metal enriched material from the production sites to galaxy halos, the circumgalactic medium and the intracluster medium. Numerical simulators and observers will discuss the latest results from HST/COS, Chandra and XMM, and groundbased facilities. The workshop will shed light on feedback mechanisms, the flows of baryons in and out of galaxies, the evolution of low and high ionization species as a function of cosmic time.
