Bus Transports from/to Airport – Sexten Center for Astrophysics

A bus transport service is available for participants from/to Marco Polo Venice Airport (see Airport Meeting Point details)

Please check carefully the Fee policy for each workshop: unless otherwise stated, the service has a cost of 60 Eur / single route. Estimated travel time: 2.5 – 3 hrs.

Nevertheless, for some workshops the service is included in the Fee: this will be explicitily specified in the fee information.

Booking and availability

Due to the reduced availability of shuttles, we are forced to be more strict about seat reservations on buses from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Sesto and back. Reservations will open one month before the start of the workshop and will close one week before the start of the workshop. For bookings after the deadlines, we do not guarantee a place.

Standard timetable for the bus transfers follows and could be helpful for you to book your flight:

AIRPORT MARCO POLO VENICE – SESTO

Before the workshop begins:
SUNDAY 03:30 pm – 07:30 pm

SESTO – AIRPORT MARCO POLO VENICE

After the end of the workshop:
FRIDAY, 01:00 pm
SATURDAY, 8:00 am

Different timetables could be applied for workshops running in non-standard timespans.
