    This conference is organized to celebrate the 65th birthdays of Stefano Cristiani and Emanuele Giallongo. It is our intention to set up a lively and somewhat informal meeting where we discuss the most recent advances in the topics they most love, i.e.:

    – Galaxies and AGNs in the high-redshift Universe
    – The intergalactic medium as a cosmological and astrophysical tool
    – Present and future spectroscopic instrumentation

    The participation to the workshop is by invitation only
