Scientific Rationale
Who else, if not the scientists, is responsible for setting guidelines
for defining progress and for protecting the interests of future generations?
Richard R. Ernst,
Nobel per la Chimica
… and energy is perhaps the biggest issue humanity will have to face with in the next future. It is a complex problem, involving emergencies at global level such as food, water and environment and the tools that appear at the scientific horizon for solving the issue… How to tackle the problem with solutions which at the same time have to be technically feasible and economically sustainable? That is one of the dilemmas that certainly will affect science and technology in the next years. But the public is not aware of the real dimensions of the problem and of the different strategies that may be pursued for its solution.
Insomma … energia solare oggi e domani.
